Jan Clizer is a fine artist and musician specializing in Scottish, Cornish and Irish subjects and tunes.  Strong influences in her gene pool have led to painting and playing music to honor not only her own, but a large sector of the world population's visceral connection to the culture, landscape and history of Scotland and its Celtic neighbours.  

It feels important to her to use her gifts, sharing what she finds uplifting, grounding and inspiring .... “for me, this is it!”  Stretching over three decades and far from the Pacific Northwest across the Atlantic Ocean, Jan’s painting career continues to unfold around interesting places and inspirational topics.  Her work is collected and commissioned both here and abroad.
