Alexandra Walsh combines her expertise as a PhD-trained chemist, self-taught watercolor artist, and experienced educator to offer a unique approach to mastering watercolor through science.
Based in Gothenburg, she is deeply passionate about the medium and dedicated to exploring its full potential. Teaching is at the core of her practice, and she is driven by a desire to demystify watercolor while inspiring curiosity and confidence in others.
Drawing on her scientific background, Alexandra also develops new and experimental techniques, expanding the possibilities of watercolor painting. As an artist, she is particularly drawn to trees — exploring their mystery, individuality, and upward movement through expressive, nature-inspired compositions.
